YS Sharmila along with a car stopped by the police
YS Sharmila: A major drama unfolded on Tuesday when YS Sharmila attempted to enter CM KCR’s Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence and workplace. Sharmila’s bus was damaged yesterday by some TRS leaders. The windshield of his car was also attacked by some local TRS leaders.
Reacting the same way, YS Sharmila drove the damaged car on her own from Lotus Pond and attempted to enter Pragathi Bhavan. The bus that was damaged yesterday was following Sharmila’s car.
Knowing of her plans, the Telangana Police stopped Sharmila’s car on Rajbhavan Road. As Sharmila refused to get out of the car. With the help of a tow truck, the police lifted the car along with Sharmila. Thus, the police stopped the car in which Sharmila was sitting. The car along with Sharmila was towed to SR Nagar Police Station. This resulted in a heavy traffic jam on the busy highway.
Sharmila said that she had not made any mistake. She said she had not made any personal comments. She said that she had only made accusations about MLA for its corruption. Sharmila said that criticizing is part of democracy. She said that a woman is being blatantly attacked by TRS leaders. She claimed that women have no security in the KCR government. Sharmila claimed that she is being attacked by TRS “thugs”.
