What’s next for KA Paul, after EC Shock?
Prominent evangelist KA Paul had big dreams of making a mark in the election. Unfortunately, he faced quite a shock. The country’s top electoral body, the Electoral Commission of India (ECI), poured water on his dreams and put an end to his great dream and political future.
As a crackdown on parties that are not active, the Electoral Commission eliminated more than 200 parties across the country, including KA Paul’s Praja Shanti Party. Saying that the parties are not active and that they are not doing any activity, the EC ignored them and also canceled their electoral symbol.
It is a great shock to KA Paul that the EC has terminated his party. He has many political ambitions and is confident that he can form a government in Andhra Pradesh. His confidence was to the point that he offered alliances with other parties.
Now it’s interesting to know what KA Paul is doing now. If you want to be in politics, then you have to go through the whole procedure of running for a political party and a symbol. Later he has to stand for the upcoming elections. If your new party does not meet the criteria mentioned by the Electoral Commission, then the new party would also suffer the same fate.
If KA Paul wants to get away from politics, he may have a lot to do. Paul rose to fame with his meetings and prayers with great leaders. He met with former US President Barack Obama and prayed for him. When Obama opposed the war in Iraq, Paul supported and backed him up.
KA Paul has been running a charity for a long time and through the charity, Paul organizes food and education for disadvantaged people. His work is appreciated by all and he received an honorary degree from the Living Word Bible College in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada.
During his best days as an evangelist, KA Paul traveled the world and visited many nations. So if KA Paul didn’t give up any interest in politics, he could go back to his evangelist days and continue his good work.
