The only confirmed Shiv Sena seat in the Modi cabinet!

Modi: The year of waiting is about to end

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will get maximum relief with confirmation of his seat in the Union Cabinet. 12 MPs from the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) were also waiting for a ministerial post for a year after the rebellion. Shinde’s Shiv Sena may get a seat in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet. The names of MPs Pratap Rao Jadhav and Bhavna Gawli are at the forefront of this race. Whose lottery will come out, Eknath Shinde has not yet opened the cards. Shinde is hopeful that the confirmation of a Modi cabinet seat will also help in the assembly elections. The credibility of the party fighting for recognition will increase among the public.

It is disputed that the Shinde faction demands the rank of Minister of State in the Union Cabinet in addition to a cabinet. But Shiv Sena only has a ministerial position in the Modi government. Also in 2014, Shiv Sena got a Union Cabinet seat in Modi 1.0. Anant Geete was then assigned responsibility for the Union Ministry of Heavy Industries. Arvind Sawant was inducted into Modi’s cabinet after winning the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Arvind was the only Shiv Sena leader to be in the central government. At present, BJP has 105 MLAs in the assembly. The Maharashtra government is run with the support of 40 Shinde and 10 independent factions. 9 MLAs from the Shinde faction are ministers in the state, but the MPs who left Uddhav could not become ministers in the center until now.
