PM Narendra Modi dedicated INS Vikrant to the Nation
The country of dragons that have been dominating the Indian Ocean for years has been brought under control. China wants to scare India by taming existing countries. India deployed the aircraft carrier Baahubali INS Vikrant to prepare for the Beijing game. From now on, the Indian Navy will completely block China’s games in the waters of the Indian Ocean. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this indigenous-built ship at Cochin Shipyard. Later this aircraft carrier was dedicated to the nation. He said that India has started a new era on the coast of Kerala. INS Vikrant’s entry during Amrit Mahotsav is auspicious. Nothing is impossible for India. PM Modi said that all Indians should be proud to see the Vikrant ship.
This ship, which is made with 76 percent indigenous knowledge, will be fully available in 2023. The latest technology is used in its construction. Missionary operations of transportation, ship navigation, and automatic survival system were established. Apart from these, there are 2,500 gas turbines, 4, 60 critical pumps, power generation, supply, and extinction systems. In addition, a de-flight ski jump has been arranged to give the aircraft additional lift during take-off. This allows the aircraft to take off in a very short time. If any part of this ship is damaged… it won’t affect other parts… This won’t cause any problem regarding travel… Also… even if this ship is hit by a missile, control won’t be seen affected. The cost of building this ship with such a system is 20 billion rupees.
Construction of the Vikrant aircraft carrier began in 2005 at the Kochi Shipyard in Kerala. Construction began under the auspices of the Office of Warship Design, an internal organization of the Navy. Since 2009, the construction work accelerated and took 13 years to complete. More than 100 MSEMs along with 500 major industries including domestic companies BEL, BHEL, Steel Authority of India, and Jindal are involved in the construction of this ship. 23,000 tons of steel, 2,500 km of electrical cables, 150 km of pipes, 2,000 valves, and other equipment for the construction of the ship are manufactured. Only a few pieces were imported from Russia. It was built with two runways and one landing strip with a capacity of 42,800,000 tons.
This ship is named after INS Vikrant, which served effectively in the Bangladesh war. This aircraft carrier can carry 34 combat aircraft. It is 262 meters long, 62 meters wide, and has 14 floors. It has a total of 2,300 compartments. Separate cabins for women have also been arranged in them. A total of 1,700 50 people will perform duties on this ship. Apart from this… this ship has many special features. Prime Minister Modi handed over this Baahubali ship to the Navy, which was built in the wake of China tensions. Until now, only the United States, Russia, England, and France have the capacity to build heavy aircraft carriers. Now India will also stand against those countries.
