MLC Kavitha: ED’ summons not ‘Modi’ summons… BRS MLC’s poem in Delhi
New Delhi, Andhra Prabha: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha said that the notices sent by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) asking them to attend the inquiry in the Delhi liquor policy case are part of political partisanship. BRS MP Kota Prabhakar Reddy spoke at a media conference at his residence in Delhi on Thursday, talking about the ED summons case and the initiative for the Women’s Reservation Bill. On this occasion, she disclosed that the ED had sent a summons to attend the hearing on Thursday itself, but in view of the pre-arranged programs including the Jantar Mantar Diksha, the ED did not agree even though she said that she would attend the hearing on the 16th of this month. But he agreed to attend the hearing on the 11th of this month (Saturday).
In fact, she said that the court rulings say that investigating agencies should provide them with the freedom to interrogate women in any case, and in this case, she could be questioned through video conference or come to her residence, but she was summoned to attend the ED office in Delhi in person. Kavitha alleged that the ED is entering before Modi enters any state in the country and because the Telangana state assembly elections are due at the end of this year, the ‘ED’ was brought in by Modi. He said that in these nine years of Modi’s rule, the governments were overthrown in 9 states by using investigative agencies, and even if that attempt was made in Telangana, it failed. He said that is why the Kakshagatti ED was used against him. He alleged that not only he was satisfied, but also the leaders of his party were being prosecuted by the investigating agencies.
Kavitha said that there are many reasons before the eyes to say that investigation agencies are being misused, and the proof of this is that the tenure of directors of organizations like ED and SEBI, who act as they say, are being extended again and again despite the expiry of their terms. She suggested that if the tenure is to be extended, it should be extended to ‘engineers’ who join the army for national service. She argued that a double-engine government in the country means that one engine is Prime Minister and the other engine is Adani. She said that she will face the ED investigation and is ready for everything, but why BL Santosh, who was caught trying to buy MLAs, is not able to face the investigation?
Kavitha commented that if there is dharma, then there is success, as long as he was in prison, he could not stop the birth of Lord Krishna, even though he was in exile, Arjuna’s bravery did not diminish, and after the exile, Lord Rama became stronger.
