It is only possible with Dhoni

IPL 2023 – In the 2023 Indian Premier League Final, CSK defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets and won the IPL title for the fifth time. CSK owner N Srinivasan called the team’s victory a miracle. It was possible only thanks to Dhoni.

Ahmedabad: N Srinivasan, former Chairman of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) and Vice Chairman of India Cements, owner of Chennai Super Kings, called the victory in the final a miracle. CSK beat Gujarat Titans in the last ball of the IPL final. Srinivasan called the team’s thrilling win a “miracle” and said that something like this could only have happened under the leadership of veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Srinivasan spoke to Chennai Super Kings captain Dhoni on Tuesday morning and congratulated him and his team (Dhoni) on this great win. Srinivasan’s message to Dhoni has been shared exclusively with PTI. Srinivasan called Dhoni, ‘Great captain. You have done a miracle. Only you can do it. We are proud of the players and the team.

He advised MS Dhoni (CSK) to rest after his hard fight in recent days and invited him to come to Chennai with the team to celebrate the victory. Srinivasan said, ‘This season has been one where the fans have shown how much they love Mahendra Singh Dhoni (CSK). us too Chennai Super Kings won their fifth IPL title after defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final in Ahmedabad on Monday night.

The rain affected the final

The final match of IPL 2023 between CSK and Gujarat was scheduled to be played on Sunday 28 May at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, but it rained heavily on that day and the draw could not be held. Due to this, the match was moved to Reserve Day.

Even on the day of the reservation, the rain interrupted the match. Although the first innings ended with Gujarat batting first and scoring 214 runs, the game was again suspended due to rain as soon as CSK started batting.

In these circumstances, the match could have been resumed at 12 noon but CSK had a target of 171 runs in 15 overs, which they achieved with the last ball.
