Five southern states account for 130 seats out of a total of 543 Lok Sabha seats. Tamil Nadu has 39 seats, while Karnataka comes second with 28 seats. Andhra Pradesh has 25 seats, while Telangana has 17 and Kerala has 20 Lok Sabha seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party aims to win at least 50-60 seats in these five states.
