Nayanthara: Dispute with Dhanush, court notices to Nayanthara

HC Issues Notice to Nayanthara: The Madras High Court has recently issued notices to South Lady Superstar Nayanthara. The Dhanush-Nayanthara dispute is known. Their dispute started over the documentary ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale’ made by Netflix. In this documentary, a clip was used in the film ‘Naanum Rowdy Daan’ produced by Dhanush without his permission, and a copyright notice was issued against Nayanthara. For this, Rs. 10 crores were demanded. When Nayanthara did not respond to this, Dhanush approached the Madras High Court.

A copyright lawsuit has been filed against Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan, naming them. The High Court recently took up the matter and issued notices to the Nayan couple. The court has ordered the Nayan couple and Netflix to explain by January 8. Netflix has made this documentary based on Nayanthara’s life. The documentary has been made on her film career, with love and marriage as the main focus. However, she has focused more on her acquaintance with Dhanush and their marriage. In this process, a clip from the movie ‘Naanum Rowdidhaan’, where the two met for the first time, was used. Vignesh Shivan acted as the director of this movie and Nayanthara played the heroine.

Dhanush produced this film starring Vijay Sethupathi. They used a three-second clip from this film, which is very important in their lives. Dhanush accused Nayanthara and Vignesh of using this clip without his permission and served copyright notices on them. With this, Nayan released a letter criticizing Dhanush’s behavior. In it, she severely criticized Dhanush. She criticized Dhanush for not being patient when the other person grows up and for following the advice he gives out. She also said that she tried a lot to get Dhanush’s permission to use the clip from this film, but Dhanush did not even give her a chance to meet him.
