Maharashtra: The President of the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao(KCR) arrived at Solapur in Maharashtra with a convoy of 600 vehicles. BRS Maharashtra manager Shankar Dhondge said Rao would offer prayers at the Lord Vitthal temple in Pandharpur on the Tuesday before Ashadhi Ekadashi on June 29. His visit to Maharashtra is for two days. Rao can also offer prayers at the Devi Tulja Bhavani temple in Osmanabad. It is said that a popular leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) can join the BRS.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) was renamed the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in December last year. CM Rao is now trying to expand his party in Maharashtra. Two BRS leaders will go to Congress

Two BRS leaders, former minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, and former MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, have announced they will join the Congress. He announced his decision after meeting with Congress Speaker Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi in the national capital.

Rama Rao asked if KCR would be jailed for implementing schemes like the “KCR kit” or for improving electricity supply, drinking water, or building houses for the poor.
