Chiranjeevi impresses with a stylish first look at ‘The Godfather’
Telugu remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam hit ‘Lucifer’ is directed by Mohan Raja and will hit theaters by Dasara 2022
Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s salt and pepper look from GodFather’s first motion poster was unveiled on Monday night and soon sparked debates about how the Telugu remake could compare to the original Malayalam Lucifer starring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. As the debate continued, with ardent film industry fans and actors sharing their views, the moving poster drew a lot of attention for its stylized presentation.
Directed by Mohan, GodFather also stars Nayanthara and Satya Dev. Salman Khan will appear in a cameo. The first moving poster shows Chiranjeevi’s character arriving in a vintage ambassador and being greeted by Sunil, while various party workers wait outside the office. The arrival of the protagonist is amplified by a moving background score by Thaman S.
GodFather is produced by RB Choudary and NV Prasad of Super Good Films, while Konidela Productions presents it. Director of photography Nirav Shah and art director Suresh Selvarajan are part of the technical team. GodFather is scheduled to hit theaters during Dasara.
