Chandrababu, who is remanded in Rajahmundry central jail after being arrested in the AP Skill Scam case, is facing a series of setbacks. The ACB court denied bail in the Skill Scam case and the High Court dismissed Squash’s petition. The trial of the Annulment Petition is still continuing in the Supreme Court. At the same time, arguments in the AP High Court on the anticipatory bail plea in the Angallu case have been completed. The verdict will be announced tomorrow. The bail petition filed in the High Court in the Skill case was adjourned until October 17.
Meanwhile, a key development has occurred in the AP Fibernet case. After the ACB court passed the PT order filed by the CID in the AP Fibernet case, Chandrababu will be produced before the court on October 16. A hearing on the Fibernet case will be held that day in the ACB court. Legal experts believe there is a possibility that the court will return Chandrababu once the investigation is completed. Meanwhile, the court has suggested to Chandrababu’s lawyers that they may intervene if the verdict on the quashing petition is pronounced in the Supreme Court tomorrow.
On Monday, October 16, Chandrababu is due to appear in court between 10 am and 5 pm. This means that even if Chandrababu gets bail in the skills case, the Fibernet case may become an issue. Meanwhile, there are the Angallu and Inner Ring Road cases. On the other hand, the AP High Court dismissed Lokesh’s anticipatory bail plea in the Skill case. The court dismissed Lokesh’s petition as the CID told it to arrest him as he could not be charged.
